Annual review copywriting & production | Trust for London
We took on project management and all copywriting for this complex annual review project, resulting in a vibrant and detailed publication showcasing their work and that of the organisations supported by this important funding body.
The challenge
A complex task to report back on impact
Trust for London is a foundation supporting organisations to fight for economic and social justice in London. During 2023 they gave out £9m to projects in London, and provided £805,000 in social investment to support growing social enterprises.
Reporting back on this work is a complex task, requiring liaison with multiple stakeholders and funding recipients to report on how the funding was used and what impact the work has had. This information needed to be collated and edited in a very short timescale.
What we did
A safe pair of hands for copywriting and editorial project management
This project involved working closely with the Communications Manager to develop a content and page plan for the annual review with a clear plan for how information was to be collected.
The work involved:
Collecting, collating and editing detailed information about the different workplans and programmes.
Working with the finance and impact teams to accurately report back on funding and impact, including developing top line statistics to be used in infographics.
Ghostwriting introductions from the board, and conducting a series of interviews in order to write up case studies and vignettes to illustrate the organisation’s work and projects they funded over the year.
Kindlemix also separately oversaw production, graphic design and proofreading for the report.
The outcome
A striking annual report showing impact over the year
Despite tight timescales, the end report was very well received by the organisation and was delivered on time and within budget.
